I enjoy engaging with people. Listening to their needs and using the communications and engagement skills I have developed over the years to make a difference to them and the organisations they work for. Be it to encourage their participation, help them be aware or make sense of something, facilitate new connections or simply make them smile – connecting with people inspires me.
Being a naturally curious person means that I become engrossed in the research elements of my work, networking and exploring ways to overcome barriers.
I am often told that my other traits include adaptability and tenacity. From building a successful support network for businesswomen in Mallorca for eight years to supporting a range of health and social care services across Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex for the last 11 years, my determination to continually learn and discover new ways to utilise my skills and experience has helped me deliver a wide range of projects and support.
